Help with rackmount LCD monitor issues
I purchased a LCDR4U10 15" Rackmount LCD monitor in February 2003. It
started acting flaky, it has a few pixel lines on the top that are grey and the rest of the display is real shaky. The warranty for the unit has expired. What can I do to repair the unit? What need to be changed? Thanks in advance! |

As it was a piece of junk and I didn't care if I broke it, I took it apart to check things out. I cleaned the ribbon cables that connected it, and then it worked great for a couple of years, 'til other things went wrong. So, if you can be careful, and have that kind of talent, go ahead and take the cover off. Clean any connections you find, and make sure they fit back together snugly. Of course, it could be another thing altogether. Aaron |
