Am i right in saying that any ATX mobo with fit any ATX Case?

no - AFAIK a full size atx mobo wont fit into a micro atx case. and also you
need to look at the postion of the cpu on the mobo in relation to the psu in
the case. sometimes the cpu cooler/fan can only be a matter of mm away from
the psu which is definately a big no-no as far as air flow is concerned

The Power supply should be attached above the Motherboard, so go for a
larger case, even if there would be enough space in between for a cooler.
