Scanned slides now switching to negatives
I'm using an Epson perfection 1660 photo scanner. It's been a long time
since I scanned slides. After setting it up correctly I have scanner a couple of hundred slides which is a long tedious job. The last batch of 4 slided which were scanner have come out looking like color negatives rather than positives. I haven't altered any settings. Why should this happen? -- Thanks in advance |

Check your input selection Neg / Positive. Quite a lot of scanners tend to revert to their default settings without any warnings. My Minolta 5400 tends to reset to 2700 Dpi instead of the 5400 I want, if I forget to select the "Saved" job, and an earlier Nikon used to revert to Positives. It is a bloody irritating habit, and they all seem to have it. Roy G |
