So does this signal a rush for older/current stock rather than wait

Horrified??? You should be happy! Those are the good o/c'n CPU's. My 1700
looks like that and overclocks easily to 2.5ghz.

pretty ****ed up, looks like AMD is biting the hand that feeds them...
may be time to move to intel, they overclock pretty well.

I cant EVEN o/c my 2500+ that much (2.416) with all the good bits and lot of
hard yakka....
