Only a 9 Gig 7200 RPM. My 30 Gig is a 5400 I believe. My video card
is an ATI All in Wonder 128. I will replace it. Probably Matrox. Not
as fast as nForce but I've read it plays better with Linux.

Nvidia provide the best linux support. For example there are now rpms
for Mandrake 9.1, and additional features such as twinview work very
well.

Yep nvidia cards work fine with linux. I'm using a 4200Ti with dual monitors
and the drivers work perfect. Matrox cards work great for 2D (not sure
about their linux support?) but forget any 3D.
