Default Roxio Retrieve - Corrupt files in 4-DVD spanned set EasyCDC 6

Dell is no help and Roxio won't even let me ask them because my EasyCD
6 came with my Dell.

I have a 4 DVD span containing 15GB of data. This KB article on
Roxio's site says the data is in fact not corrupt but neither Retrieve
nor Windows can read it properly.

I've tried ISObuster, CDRDiagnostic and others. They all pull the
corrupted versions of the files.

I've sent updated to 6.2. That is not the answer.

Thanks for your help,

Here's the KB article:

Roxio Knowledge Base Article
EE6000031
RR- Retrieved data from a spanned disc set appear corrupt

The information in this article applies to:
Easy CD & DVD Creator Versions 6.0.3 and earlier
Creator Classic Disc Spanning and Roxio Retrieve
Applicable Operating Systems:
Windows 98
Windows ME
Windows 2000
Windows XP
Issue:
When retrieving files from a spanned disc set created with Creator
Classic using Roxio Retrieve or Windows Explorer, the files appear
corrupt or contain additional (or "odd") characters.

Cause:
Certain data sets including ones with a large number of files and/or
long file names require a calculation to place the disc contents and
location within a file on the each disc created in the set. There is a
miscalculation that truncates the information stored in this file, and
the retrieved files are read at incorrect offsets, resulting in misread
data.

Note: The content of the files on the disc are not corrupted even
though Roxio Retrieve or Windows Explorer cannot read them. This is
because the files are not

Resolution:
The problem is fixed in the 6.0.4 (& higher) updater for Creator
Classic. Discs sets created after this update is installed will no
longer exhibit this problem.

For customers with disc sets created with Easy CD & DVD Creator 6.0.3
and earlier that require more details assistance you can find support
options for your Roxio product at http://www.roxio.com/en/support

You are screwed. Ananology is your hard disk directory is corrupted.
Sure the hard disk data is intact. Sure in theory you can recover those
data.

I've tried ISObuster, CDRDiagnostic and others. They all pull the

IsoBuster, CDRDiag would not know there's a problem.

I've sent updated to 6.2. That is not the answer.

No update will fix the already messed up "directory".

Thanks for your help,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
