Default Promise Fasttrak 100 TX2 and Fasttrak 66

et al,

First of all, TIA for the help.

Both BIOS's post just fine and show each array attached to them.

I boot off of the 100 TX2 array into Windows 2000 Server SP3. And it boots
just fine.

The problem I have is that I can't add the array on the 66 to the OS. I've
got the drivers installed for the 66 and 100 just fine and both controllers
show up w/ no !'s or X's in the browser. The Fastcheck utility doesn' t
see it either.

I orginally had the 100 TX2 by itself. I added the 66 just recently.

Any ideas?

thx.

Just a guess here. Have you disabled the BIOS in one of the controllers
(presuming it can be disabled)? Maybe only one instance of the BIOS
must be loaded which then manages the other controllers and their
drives. I did not see anything in Promise's downloadable manual or in
their online FAQs about using multiple controllers. You could try
sending them a query at
http://www.promise.com/support/online/help_eng.asp to see if they
respond on how to use multiple controllers in the same host.
