Matrox 550 vs P650
I have an opportunity to get a new Matrox P650 for only a couple $ more than
the price of a 550. It will be going into an AGP 4X system (Asus P4B533) ...... Would there be any benefit at all to going for the 650 in this AGP 4X system (recognizing that the 650 is 8X capable), or should I save the extra $ and just go with the 550? Generally intended to just be a 2D text/business graphics/photo editing box; no games or 3d interest at all. Just looking for very high quality, rock-stable image in 2D space (what I'm used to in older systems using earlier Matrox boards). Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

You can get a Matrox G550 for about $60, how much is the P650 ?
