Default URGENT HELP, PLEASE

Hi all.

Maybe there was already some post on the topic, but my newsreader
can't get a lot of past threads. If that's the case I'm sorry.

Anyway, does anybody know a website where I can get a list of all the
error codes given by the bios (especially the "Hard disk fail" codes)
with a good conclusive explanation of their cause and meaning?

Thanks a lot for any help.

Rocco.

1. Write the code and text down.
2. Load google.
3. Write the code and text in search line.
4. Push ENTER or "Search Now" button.
5. Now, wish that you were able to see the happiness displaying in your
face.

Then sift through hundreds of thousands of Google results when he wished he
had came to a newsgroup and asked someone knowledgeable for a web-site...

I you have a reasonable sense, you should get some results before even
trying the 5th site.

Actually I tried the first 45 sites and the first 30 of the
directories without any result. This, before posting on this NG to ask
(I prefer serching by myself before crashing the balls of others).

So I renew the question.

Ciao a tutti.

Maybe you could post the error code here?

It's 2 different error codes, both written on the screen after the RAM
check at startup.
The first is "HARD DISK FAIL (20)". Pressing F1 after it's displayed
led to a regular windows startup.
The second is "HARD DISK FAIL (80)". After this one there wasn't any
possibility of further startup of any system.

Thanks a lot to everyone.
