Default Trying to ID CPU

rstlne - thanks for the list. In particular I've been trying to figure
out what AXP meant.

If it means Palomino, can someone explain these advertisements:

-AMD Athlon XP2200+ / 256K Cache / 266MHz FSB / Socket A / Processor /
Thoroughbred core
-Manufacturer Part No: AXP2200OEM

Are they just wrong?

Also, they quote the part #AXDA1800BOX. Did AMD actually make a Tbred
at that low a clock speed?

AFAIK, That's a boxed retail 2200+. It could be an A or B core so be
careful. You don't want an A core.

Even lower.

Actually, what I meant to ask was, is it actually a TBred core?
Rstlne's post would indicate that it is a Palomino.

I'm trying to determine if this would be a model 8/13um or model
6/18um. The OPN's I've seen at AMD's website indicate that a model 8
prefix would be AXDA.

Thanks,
Ashley

The 2200+ was never made in a Palomino core.
