Spyware in MSI's Nvidia driver package?
Since I have an MSI GeForce FX 5900XT, I use MSI's version of the Nvidia
drivers (61.21). I noticed that this driver package includes a file called WinSys.exe. In googling that file, it appears it may be spywa http://www.windowsstartup.com/wso/br...rt=225&end=250 But I'm wondering if that is just an unfortunate same name for a different file? I think, but I'm not sure, that MSI's winsys.exe is part of the Dynamic Overclocking included with MSI's drivers. As when I deleted it, it appeared that the Dynamic Overclocking wasn't working as expected? Anyone know anything about this? Anyone else using MSI's version of Nvidia drivers? |
