Default WindowsXP Pro Automatically logs off - Precision 360

1. My WinXP Pro automatically logs off after a certain amount of idle time,
maybe around 30 minutes. I haven't determined that exactly. Most of the
time I'm working on another machine.

2. I'm logged on as Administrator.

3. Local security policy 'Automatically log of users when logon time expires
'is set to disabled.

4. Screen saver is default screen saver with no properties for auto log off.

How can I disable this auto logoff?

Thanks.

Alan

Try going into the screen saver properties and unchecking the option for "on
resume, display welcome screen"

if that is checked, winxp will not explicitly log you out, but you would
still have to type in your password.

hope this helps.

Thanks very much for your reply.

Tha box was already unchecked. Somethng must have gotten out of synch in
the registry.

Maybe checking and unchecking will clear it out, or changing to another
screen saver.

Regards,

Alan
