Default Unexpected BSOD

Just finished replacing a Liteon 32x12x40 with a Liteon 52x32x52. All
settings for file sharing remained the same.

When my other box attempts to read the burner over the home network I
often get a sudden, and fatal, BSOD. This problem didn't appear when
the slower burner was in place.

Why?

A fatal exception 0E has occurred at 0028:C0276AA9 in VXD VREDIR(03) +
00002AA9.

Note, not every time but often enough to be unreliable.
