Compaq Presario V2405US Widescreen Notebook
Greetings all.
I am wanting to know if anyone in this NG has had any experience, positive or negative, with the Compaq Presario V2405US Widescreen Notebook. I have found this particular model offered at a local Office Depot for $549.99 (with NO rebate) and am wondering if this is a good investment in a notebook PC. Any and all comments are welcome and are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for you time. If all you do is internet and word processing, maybe these will be OK, although most have only 256MB RAM which is marginal for anything more that basic use. Also, some of these have only a 90-day warranty - not enough for a notebook computer. Check the warranty thoroughly - it must be a manufacturer's warranty, not the big box store warranty that is generally useless. Q |
