For now I press the power button to turn off my computer.
Today I dediced it was serious enough to report it on Creative Labs forum. It appears I am not the only one with this problem: http://forums.creative.com/t5/Sound-...wn/td-p/530368 Far from it it seems. 37 pages of problems with shutdown. Bye, Skybuck.

System freeze while gaming with latest nvidia and creative driver.
For now I press the power button to turn off my computer.
