money for a dead maxtor.
my 120gb maxtor smoked itself on startup.. literally flames.
if anyone has a crashed version of this junk (clicking, clunking, failing.. etc) i'd like to buy it. i am told the controller card swap may work. it must have the c5-c1 main chip labeled on card. would the motor have fried too? i can't believe that, but this company sucks. thanks chris |
