Blind dailing with PCTEL 2304 WT V.92 MDC modem in w2k
Modem works fine in NOT blind dailing mode under w2k.
However when ticking off the wait for dailtone before dailing (under startControl PanelPhone and modems optionsModemsPCTEL 2304 WT V.92 MDC PropertiesGeneral) and inserting x0 (blind dailing AT command see http://support.ap.dell.com/docs/comm...n/at_and_s.htm) in the Extra initialisation commands (under startControl PanelPhone and modems optionsModemsPCTEL 2304 WT V.92 MDC PropertiesAdvanced) a Windows Error 692: There was a hardware failure in modem (or other connecting device) is seen. Anybody intelligent out there who can shed some light on this? Any suggestions are welcome Steven PS:The modem works fine in a hyperterminal blind dailing session i.e. atx0dt1234 |
