Default Asus Replacements

Hi
We have a small office with 2 PCs using ASUS P4PE 3.0Ghz and 2 PCs using
ASUS P4P800 E DELUXE
3.0 GHZ and 2 PCs using ASUS P4P800 SE 3.4 Ghz.

As you can see they are all 478 pin P4s.

I did a check yesterday to look for replacement P4P800
boards and found that everybody and their collective mothers are
out-of-stock as even the P4P800 SE has been discontinued.

It's a matter of time before I will eventually have to replace one or more
boards. Considering that I'd "ideally
but rather unrealistcally" resuse the CPUs and RAM,
can anyone suggest a replacement/upgrade path?
I've been using nothing but ASUS boards since the P3Bs.

Thaks very much for any insights/input.

Now you know why the good used socket 478 boards on E-Bay are going for
as much as $150 to $180.

Like maybe something from this page. These are Intel manufactured desktop
motherboards, with the 865 chipset. You may be able to find an 845 board too,
if you wanted it for some reason.

Some Intel product info can be found here for their motherboards.

Yes, not as cleanly as an intel chipset one, but
I can reuse the CPU and RAM.
Very helpful. Thanks very much.
