Default Audigy 2 Platinum eX - Problems with surroundmixer and speaker settings

It sounds like it is looking for Java. You must have installed
WinXP SP1a that doesn't include Java. Go to www.java.com and
download the free java from there and your problem will be
solved.

Hi Ya After a reinstall of Windows XP Pro I have problems with the surroundmixer
and with the speaker settings programs. When I try to open them a big gray
square from top to buttom of the middlescreen appears.
