Adobe Reader 7
I would like to know on which disk that came with my new Dell computer
to look for the (free) Adobe Reader 7 program. I would like to install the reader on another computer without having to download it. Since it is a free program there should not be a question of doing something illegal. |

It has yet to be accepted by any publisher I am aware of. |

Try this: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win
You can go back to version 6.0 from that directory. Earlier versions also exist elsewhere on the Adobe FTP server (which I'm impressed to see is still running, publicly available and up to date--at least as far as Reader is concerned) if you want those. William |

It may be part of the Dell "image" and may not exist separately. But
what's the issue with downloading it? You can do that, it will take 1-2 minutes, you can burn it to a CD and then do exactly what you want to do. The latest versions are much larger and my attempts at downloading were unsuccessful Norm |
