Compaq 2178 is named as a Presario 2100
Hello, I am a very new owner of a Compaq 2178 laptop which on the case is
named as a Presario 2100. Is this normal? Also when the battery is fully charged does it go on cooking (or over charging) by being connected to the mains? Would it be best once the battery is charged up to remove it and just run the laptop off the mains? Many thanks for any help with these newbe questions. Barry, UK |

I think that is normal. I just purchased a Presario X1010CA and on the case
it just says presario X1000. Henry "Bazzer" wrote in message ... Hello, I am a very new owner of a Compaq 2178 laptop which on the case is named as a Presario 2100. Is this normal?
