Default SATA Raid 5 Config

We are looking at putting a RAID 5 configuration in our existing server. I
was surprised at the difference in price between a SCSI controller and SATA
controller (about 1/3 the price of a scsi raid card). The drives are about
the same in price though. We have a small office. With about 6 people on the
domain. We use the server for file storage and retrieval too. Mostly AutoCAD
drawings. Though the temp files are stored on our individual computers while
working in them. We periodically save them every 10 to 20 minutes. Would the
SATA Raid Controller work just as well for us? The server is a Gateway P3
6400 Series. And the operating system is Windows 2003 Standard Server
Edition.

Thanks for any advice.

Greg
