presario 1685 problem PLEASE HELP
Hi,
I have been shown a presario 1685 notobook that only starts with a dos like screen showing a check of memory and HD (screen shows 3 progress indicators). This process only needs a few seconds. Immediatly after that win98 closing screen shows telling us that we can close the pc down. And that is it... we can't get into the win98 system ... I do not have ANY experience with compaq systems , and i cannot find a solution on the internet. PLEASE HELP!!! Ano

try pressing f8 at boot to see if it will start in safe mode, good luck
