Default More hard drive for Armada 1540DM

A few questions:

How much can it be increased?

Can I do this myself or do I need to have an "expert" install the required
device?

Will increasing the hard drive loose all the existing information on the
old?

Thanks for helping,

Martin

I put a 5G in a 1592 and it detected it fine

Could someone furnish a link to a reputable place online to purchase a hard
drive upgrade for my Armada 1540DM? 5G would be just right.

Thanks again,

Martin
