Default P4P800 SATA: Really simple question

I use that config on my ASUS A7N8X deluxe.

It should be possible. The SATA drives have a higher priority than IDE if
you change your boot device sequence in BIOS.

I'm about to build a new P4 system, and wanted to make sure that the
SATA support on the P4P800 works as I think it does.

Specifically, I CAN use SATA for my C:, non-RAID drive, right? (This
will be under WinXP Pro, if it matters.) Since I need to buy a new HD
anyway, I figure I might as well go SATA.
