Default PCMCIA

Are any modern laptops coming with PCMCIA slots? I couldn't find any
at bestbuy.com.

PCMCIA is being phased out and replaced by ExpressCard technology. The
problem is that there are many PCMCIA devices and very few ExpressCard ones
and manuafactureres have been really slow on the uptake.

Why do you need a PCMCIA slot? It's an obsolete technology that is
being replaced by ExpressCard slot. Unfortunately, most netbooks today
don't have either slots. The only netbook that has an ExpressCard slot
is the Lenovo S10.
