Default Nero & DVDRW

Maybe the wrong newsgroup but maybe one of you could be so kind as to help
me. I have up until now had a CDRW and have used Nero 6. Now I have removed
the CDRW drive and replaced it with a DVDRW drive Nero doesn't recognise the
drive for writing. Instead I get a virtual DVDRW device in its place. (The
DVDRW drive software shipped with product works fine, but I prefer Nero).

Do I need to reinstall Nero because my drive has changed, or do I need to
upgrade / buy something else or perform some hardware configuration to allow
me to burn a straightforward DVD data only disc using Nero?

Many thanks for your help.

You have to install Nero AFTER you install the DVDRW unit so Nero will find
it. Also, Nero usually will NOT run right if you also have another CD/DVD
burning program installed on your computer. They conflict. Uninstall the
other program.
