Finally Dead

My daughther received a Gateway MX 6025 about 2 years ago from her
Grandmother.
It was from Best Buy with a 3yr warranty.
Motherboard went up 3 times.
This does not count the time it went to Gateway under the 1yr warrant
with a bad battery
and power supply.


Well anyway Best Buy gave me the compaq that they said was comparable
under their no
lemon policy on Sunday afternoonafter a call from Bestbuy geek squad.

The final exchanger said that the exchange was incorrect and this one
was comparable

and that he should charge the 20 dollars more for the difference

Original was 579 dollars


The wonderful women who was his boss or maybe Hillary's girlfriend
said no way.



So I made the exchange and took it hoem to my daughther

Tuesday AM she says daddy this has no media card reader no card slot
and no firewire.

I could see tears in her eyes
Her father had let her down.



So i called bestbuy and was told that they do not overide the store
Supervisor please I said


She called the store and they agreed to give me the one that costs 20
dollars more
for 20 dollars.
Even the geke man that was there said the sway was poor.
They try to swap on processor and ram but in this case they were wrong

I did forget to mention that I had a picket sign made up
and called from my cell and the manager saw me from the street,
