Default ZenBook: Loses Touch Screen Functionality

Zenbook UX302L running Windows 8.1.

Several weeks ago the "Touch" feature of the screen had stopped working
maybe 5 times already.

The workaround was Control Panel | Troubleshooting | Hardware and Sound
| Hardware and Devices. It presented two instances of "Enable USB
Input Device" - and the problem went away once "Apply This Fix" was
clicked for each.

For awhile... then I would have to do it again.

But now, the workaround no longer works and the screen is touchless.

Anybody got a fix?
