Default Unique feature of a CD

Hey People !

I wanted to know that are their any feature / features or combination
of features that a particular Compact Disk has but not the other CD.
i.e. Unique attribute of CD that can be read by a software program.

Waiting for replies !!!

I don't understand your question. Please rephrase it.

I think I know what he means, but don't know the answer. Stuff like a track
not normally accessed for protection use comparable to the old floppy disk
schemes.

True, it could be clearer; in fact, I believe my reply in another
newsgroup caused this attempt to rewrite for clarity, though the OP
still does not specify CD-R or pressed disc; if written by the user to
CD-R, written by the software without user intervention, or included in
the ATIP.

Guessing at what is wanted, I'll offer section 2-26 of the CD-R FAQ as
the nearest approach to an answer I've found. I believe the volume
serial number does not change when the disc is duplicated, only when it
is created. (I.e., a duplicator will not and a program for duplicating
should not create a new serial number when cloning.)

There's always a hope that I guessed right and Varun Gupta has his
answer. More probably, you are correct and a clear statement of the
question is needed.

Mike
