Default Crucial/Inland Pro/IPSG/Microcenter

All the same and $44/US for a 240G MLC SDD (VNand or 3D high-density
variant). 3-yr warranty through other than Amazon -- a Microcenter
storefront distribution play thereon. Plus taxes for new and
improved, US-NET leveling tax legislation for individual states. Ebay
can't touch it, although they are much nearer to trying only from the
120G model.

Model number - 349365

This is apparently a SDD Phison controller with Toshiba resources and
alliances between a Crucial front. Some sub-par performances hits
among a class of SSDs, (low random write averages), generally twice
Amazon's current price of the Inland Professional.

Sounds about right for maybe a $40-ish, budget but reasonably reliable
4T mechanical HDD, or a 500G SSD for the same money. Maybe next year
or sooner for introductory potentials and denser NAND storage fab. . .
Blue in the face, your mileage may vary, or whichever comes first.
