OK, thanks. Fair use is the key word. I can see you copying a DVD that
you already own as fair use but copying a DVD that you only rented or
borrowed from a friend is not. I wouldn't bother making a copy of a
DVD I already own but I guess some people might for backup purposes.


Many people whose children play DVDs choose to make copies and let the kids
use the copies. When the copy gets damaged, another copy is made from the
original.

Good point; although, I think most people buy things like DVDXcopy to
pirate movies from the video store. I don't care what they do really,
just stating the truth.

Instead of saying the word "think" you should have used "assume"

No, "think" was the correct word. "Assume" just makes an ass out of
