They have excellent CS and aftersales. I buy loads of stuff from them.

I remember some time ago - maybe ten years - Computer Shopper did a
comparison shop of High Street retailers. John Lewis came out way on
top.

Yup. V Good. A year ago bought for a neighbour a Sony 17". The laptop
was boxed and we opened and checked for dead pixels before we left.

Indeed a very good service, a knowledgable saleman, and an excellent
range of choices; one small niggle upon collection - the seal was
broken on the outer packaging. Checking the contents it appeared that
the t.v. antena cable had been 'borrowed.' Customer Service suggested
that I should approach Toshiba for a replacement!! CJB.
