I have substantial experience with "forgetful" erasable CD media
even when simply stored at room temperature for a few months.

Measuring error rates, it's clear that several lines of
higher-speed blanks decay over time as I have written them.

Mikey, how in the hell could you have measured error rates
when you did not even have a drive reporting C1 errors?

You must have dug the C1 errors out of your asshole, isn't that right,
Mikey?
