Unfortunately, there seems to be a
loophole in ng clients whereby our best efforts are defeated when people
insist on quoting his rants in replies. The upside of their doing so it
reminds us of the wisdom of our decision to killfile him in the first place.

Imagine forcing yourself to read killfiled posts just because they are
quoted! What a dumb ****!

From my own results and from numerous reports, it is clear that
erasables have increasing error rates over time.

One small problem with the above poppycok: There was no way Mikey could
have measured error rates when Mikey did not even have a drive reporting
C1 errors.
