There are no "double layer CD's? Only double layer DVD's.

There are no "double layers cds" - with any change of spelling.
Presumably, you mean double-layer DVD. If you do mean CD, whether double
layer or something else, I suggest starting with the CD-R FAQ; if the
question is relatively low-tech, the primer at my WWW site may assist.
