Default "broken record" a known CD problem??

I have a CD that repeats -- like a vinyl that's
stuck in one grove. Happens after 15 minutes of
good playing on a 25 minute recording.

Is this a known problem?

I ask because I don't know the cause: my
CD brand (Memorex 52x) or *Nero* or just bad luck??

Only seen it once -- on the last CD I burned.

thanks,

Mason C
