combo drive will not play audio CDs

Hello,

I have a problem with a Samsung Combo drive. It can play DVD videos, read
DVD data disks and CD data disks but won't recognise audio CDs. My system
justy seems to hang.

I am using winXP Pro on an Athlon 64 machine. The combo shares with a LG
DVD burner.

This problem has only just recently occurred. The combo drive was working
normally when I first put this machine together a couple of months ago.

Any suggestions from anyone would be appreciated.

Right-click the drive, Properties, AutoPlay tab. What Action is
selected to play "Music CD"?
