Thanks a lot for the answer. Anybody possibly know of any places, especially
retail stores, that might still have Fuji (FujiFilm) CD-Rs made in Japan by
Taiyo Yuden remaining? Again, thanks.

Did you try asking where Plextor drives sell? Plextor CDR's are TY.

I was just in an OfficeMax store and they had the 30 packs of MIJ's. That
doesn't mean that they all will.

Why don't you tell us where you live?

If you happen to live in Florida, the store that I'm referring to is in Sanford.

As SleeperMan said in another reply - look for Plextor discs in your
local store. I've also seen some of the specialist mail order places
sell unbranded T-Y's.

Cheers.

The local BestBuys here in PA carry both the Made in Japan Fuji drums and
for a cheaper price they also have the Taiwanese or whatever the non TY-made
ones are. I don't know how long this will keep up, and whether this is
unique to this region or common to all BestBuys; if they have them in your
region it would be wise to stock up while you can still get them.
