Can't find CD drives
I defragged my hard drive earlier today and now my computer will not
recognize my CD Rom or CD-RW drives. They do not show up in My Computer or in Device Manager. Any help appreciated. Thanks. Phil B. |

Go to device manager and uninstall the IDE controller that the drives are

I found this post using Google. I have an identical problem, but use Win98

Turned computer off (Power). Waited a few minutes and then turned
