Presario 1274 Video driver

My daughter's laptop video is messed up. I can't find the driver on the hard
drive, and when I access the driver from the compaq support I get a file
error when I run setup. Does anyone have a location for a good copy of the
drivers? I believe that it's NeoMagic.

heh, but there is no video driver listed. Go to Google, search for
AIDA32. Download and run the program. It will list the Manufactuer
and model of you video card and possibaly give a link for the drivers
you need.

I did get a video driver, but now what do I put into monitor type? Actually
everything looks ok, but I don't like the unknown monitor label.
