Default Help Required E500 Laptop

Hi,
I have a serious problem with the dvd drive in my E500, when its inserted in
the mutilbay it doesnt book, mentions something to do with the wrong system
disk inserted and has a few other errors also. However, when the dvd drive
is unplugged it works a treat. Any info would be greatly appreciated

Steve
