Default Dell U2410 Monitor Prices. What's the Difference??

Looks the same, specs are the same. Name is the same. One has a parts
number and the other one doesn't indicate a part number. The price
difference is TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS

I looked at most (not all) of the specs and I could not see any
difference. I thought the difference might be in the specs or date of
mfg but I couldn't find the difference. Maybe someone else has sharper
eyes then mine as mine are not as good as they once were.

I think it's just too big of a site and they didn't realize they have
2 pages written for the same product. That's the trouble with
duplication when you have to update or modify. This rule applies to
more than just websites too which I learned in my own profession.

Next time I need to buy something, I want to pass it by you.

?Look in the upper left corner and notice one has Canada, and the other has
United States.

The sku# is the same in both links.

You're just seeing the difference in the exchange rate between US dollars
and Canadian dollars.

Considering the Canadian dollar is at par with the US dollar that is quite
the rip off for Canadians.

Brian, you got me to thinking.... if the exchange rate is about the
same, can US or Canadians order from the cheaper side of Dell (US or
Canada)? I don't recall anyone doing this and perhaps shipping or
warrantee issues might make this a poor choice???

I don't know about Americans buying from Dell Canada but trying to get
the monitor on Dell US site, when I enter my Postal Code in the Zip
code. It doesn't fit and I have no idea what the hell the 4-digit Ext. is.

I know, with Amazon.com, I can't buy hardware but I can buy software.

Good eyes??

Nah, just luck. At my age I'm surprised I don't trip over more things than I
already do.

I'm sure they have it setup where you have to buy from the country website
in which you live. If you had friends/relatives that live in the US you
could probably use their home as the shipping address and then have them
send it to you. Not sure how this would impact warranties, etc. Does anyone
know what Dell's policy is if you move to another country?

Considering how long the Canadian dollar has been relatively close in value
to the US dollar it's really disappointing that Dell is still charging such
a large premium. I can understand having to pay a bit extra to handle
customs related matters but there is no way those costs are that much.

Brian
