Yes they do exist...

Give the Google search engine a try with ["8-slot" PCI] search minus the
brackets as the search string and start reading.

A different Google search with "motherboard 8-PCI", minus the quote mark
might give be a better search.

Not if they're ATX boards. I remember and old 12 slot AT board.

1 Counter/Timer/Digital I/O board
2 DSP boards
1 RS-422 board
1 Video board
1 PCI bus analyzer board
