Is there a changeover switch available that allows switching a single
monitor for use by two computers?.

KVM switch (Keyboard, Video, Mouse)

It called KVM switch.

It's called a KVM switch. It allows you to use one monitor , one mouse, and
one keyboard with rwo computers.
