Default Epson Perfection V350 Driver

I was attempting to update my v350 driver with the update from the
Epson website, which listed WinXP was included in the v350 driver
update, but when running the update, I received a message that the
driver was not certified for WinXP. The driver is "epson13832.exe"
from Epson driver update website. Is this correct and I should not
use it - I cancelled the installation at that point as I was unsure
how to proceed.

Thanks for any insights.

Charlie, although it is not certified, it may still work. Go ahead and
install and if it does not, then you can uninstall it anyway

Yes, as Eddie says, it's probably okay if it came from the Epson site but,
if that is indeed the case, why wouldn't you go back to that site and ask
them?
They'd surely have an 800# to call and/or a "contact us" email mechanism.
Wouldn't the manufacturer be the authority for its own products?
Geo.
