Yes

Assuming you are eligible for a postage refund if you haven't already sent
it back, don't. Get them to collect it.
If you have sent it, send them an enote for the refund .

You enclose a receipt for the postage costs with the return and they
should be refunded when the rma is processed.

Unfortnately you are not entitled to a refund on shippng unless something
they did specifically cost you money, as with buying from a store in town
they dont refund your petrol, wear and tear on your car or your lunch while
you were out !!

If they sent you the wrong thing then yes they should be paying for it ,
faulty then unfortunately not..
(check the sales of goods act)

The cost does still have to be reasonable and you do have the option to send
at your own expense I imagine but then its on your head if it goes missing
on the way ...

Don't know if this is standard but Ebuyer are arranging a courier to pick up
a Seagate PATA HDD (I ordered a SATA HDD) from my work tomorrow - so
they'll pay for the return.

not so...........this from ebuyer website.

"Except in the case of faulty or misdescribed goods, shipping back to Ebuyer
is to be paid by the Customer. Where the goods are faulty or misdescribed,
Ebuyer shall either collect the goods from you or ask you to return the
goods and refund you the reasonable shipping costs."
