5.1Digital and Win2kPro ?

Haven't got anything from my newly installed 5.1dig card except hiss and
crackle with faint sound in the distant background. It was plugged into an
equally new VideoLogic ZXR-200 system.

I've changed the cable connecting SBLive card to CD from digital to
analogue with no difference.

Is the SBLive 5.1 supported in Win2k Pro ?
(Creative box and website only mention Win2 NOT Win2kPro)

I've got a Soundblaster 5.1 that works fine with professional. It's
supported you can get the drivers from the website.

Hi,
I think so, but you have to have Service pack installed for Win2K (at least
SP1, latest is SP3),
