Default "Hard Error" on Inspiron when in Docking Station

I'm using an Inspiron 2650, 1 G memory, running Windows XPPro for both
home and business travel use with a Dell Advanced Port Replicator as a
docking station when home

I receive intermittant "Hard Errors", with the following advisory,
"Stop: C0000145 Unknown Hard Error" or Stop C000021a Unknown Hard
Error", approximately 2-3 per week, and ONLY when the system is
docked.

The problem seems to occur when there is no, or minimal activity, no
programs active.

Has anyone experienced similar problems? Dell Support.. Far East
Version, seems unable to provide any suggestions or resolution.
