A8N-E Boot Issues
Hi
I have an A8N-E that is starting to have problems at boot. It gets as far as the message 'nForce 4' after loading the BIOS version info then stops. This is just before it looks for IDE drives. Often it will boot past this point, with no apparent problems. It's got me puzzled - memory problem, IDE problem or perhaps a flaky BIOS? Has anyone had similar problems that may shine a light on this? Thanks! Merry Christmas! |

A8N-E Boot Issues
Do you have a Sata2 drive installed ? Also, there is some tech at Asus
about a bios upgrade because some PCI-E video cards hang the boot proccess... My boot problem, same board, was my Sata2 drive. A flash update from Seagate solvedthe problem...
